Welcome, as some of you may already know our dear friend and beloved hockey coach Chris Gravel is having major heart surgery on January 25, 2013.

To help support him and his family through the six month recovery period we are having a ‘Have A Heart’ benefit.

About Chris
Christian Gravel (aka Chris aka Gravy) was born to a large French Canadian Family in New Liskeard, Ontario. Growing up Chris played & excelled at many sports including hockey, soccer and swimming. His hockey team, the New Liskeard Cubs made it all the way to the Macs Midget International Tournament in the 1994 – 1995 season. Chris’ love of hockey led him to England in 1996 where he was a professional hockey player. When Chris returned to Canada he continued his education earning a FLBU in Business from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. Today Chris lives with his family in Richmond Hill, Ontario and shares his love and knowledge of hockey by being a volunteer coach for the Richmond Hill Stars hockey organization.

      • My dear grandson. Pep & I are wishing you the best for your surgery. We believe that with all what the doctors know nowdays that they will do an excellent job. True you have to suffer through it but you’ll be a happy man once it’s over. Think positive at all times and remember that we’re all here for you.

    As your God parents, we will not be able to attend the event but you know that you are a very special person and you have a special place in our heart along with your family. I believe that God has a special plan for you and we must all believe that everything will be fine. The Doctors will be doing a great job on your surgery. We still want to be able to plan a good fishing trip this summer. The fish is waiting for you but I know that I will catch the fish. All the best in the coming days. Love you lots!
